Moon Bunnies (๑╹ᆺ╹) (╹ᆺ╹๑)
An automaton using cams and gears that brings life to the two moon bunnies making rice cakes. I was inspired by a Korean traditional fable about rabbits living in the moon. The automaton mimics the motion of hitting a rice cake dough in a Jeolgu (a type of traditional Korean mortar and pestle set).

Mechanism Motion Study
'Intended as a substitute for the crank. Reciprocating rectilinear motion of the double rack gives a continuous rotary motion to the center gear. The teeth on the rack act upon those of the two semi-circular toothed sectors, and the spur-gears attached to the sectors operate upon the center gear. The two stops on the rack shown by dotted lines are caught by the curved piece on the center gear, and lead the toothed sectors alternately into gear with the double rack.'

Turtle Draws Trees ◝( ˙ ꒳ ˙ )◜
I wrote functions that would draw hexagons, donuts, and stars as the end nodes (leaf) in the tree generator python file. The main code then randomly draws either a leaf of a randomly selected shape or continue generating by creating a branch in the shape of "V".
